Laryngitis Symptoms Causes and 7 Home Remedies

Laryngitis is an infection usually caused by a virus, although at times it may also be of bacterial origin, which causes a narrowing of the larynx and can cause a temporary loss of voice.

The larynx is located at the entrance of the respiratory and this allows air to pass from the pharynx to the trachea. The larynx is located the vocal cords and that is why the voice is affected in this disease.
